Questions
The panels add up to 890W. Why 800W?
The microinverter holds what goes into your home to 799VA, the plug-in limit. The extra panel power helps it reach that limit for longer, mornings, evenings and duller days included.
How many ballast blocks do I need?
Concrete blocks of 18kg or more: 2 for gusts over 40mph, 5 over 60mph, 10 over 80mph. Buy them separately.
Who do I tell?
Register it free at myplugin.solar before first use, and tell your home insurer. Northern Powergrid runs the network here.
Can it go on a wall?
No, this one is ground only. For a wall option, look at the Duo 890W hybrid.
